Vancouver filmmaker Charles Wilkinson’s documentary “Peace Out” has been selected as one of the films to be featured in the environmental category for the 2011 Vancouver International Film Festival (Sept 29-Oct 14). Peace Out looks at societal attitudes to industrial development in northern BC and Alberta. The film covers a range of developments including BC Hydro’s proposed Site C dam. The film features interviews with Peace locals such as Chief Roland Wilson, Gerry Attachie, Ken Boon, Gwen Johnason, and others. More details on the film festival schedule will follow. Please help to promote this important film that highlights not only the current threats to the Peace River, but matters of vital importance to us all.
