Dear Friends,

You’re invited to attend an evening of information and updates on Site C and the Natural Capital Analysis Report by the David Suzuki Foundation this Wednesday, May 27th from 7-9 p.m. in Fort St. John.

Dr. Faisal Moola, of the David Suzuki Foundation will provide an informative presentation on the value of maintaining the ecological integrity of the Peace Region. The economic benefits of keeping the Peace River region’s remaining farmland and nature intact are enormous, according to the report. These ecosystems play a critical role in providing clean air, clean water, habitat for wildlife and many other ecological benefits that sustain the health and well-being of local residents, and contribute to the cultural and traditional ways of First Nations.

Additionally, spokespeople from the Treaty 8 Tribal Association and the Peace Valley Landowner Association will provide updates on their Site C court actions.

Please join us for information, discussion and refreshments at the Treaty 8 Tribal Association boardroom from 7-9 p.m., located in Fort St. John, at 10233 100 Avenue this Wednesday, May 27th, 2015.

We look forward to having you there!
